One of the world's largest car manufacturers, Toyota are now all set to launch their new hatchback model in the ever growing B segment of the Indian automobile field. This new model named as Toyota Etios Liva is expected to reach the Indian market by 2011 March and the price tag for this new model is expected to be around Rs 5 lakhs.
This new hatchback model, Toyota Etios Liva comes to India with a 1200cc MPFI Petrol engine and it gives a Maximum power of 80 Bhp and no details regarding the torque is mentioned anywhere. Plans for diesel motor are on hold and the buyers will only have the choice of petrol engine initially. This new Toyota hatchback is expected to a mileage of 17.64kmpl. The Diesel engine will generate maximum power of 87 Bhp with maximum torque of 205 Nm.
Toyota Etios Liva has an overall length of 3995mm, 1695mm of width, 1490mm of height and 173mm of ground clearance. This new Toyota Etios Liva features a Five Speed Manual Transmission and also comes with a suspension of McPherson Strut - Torsion Beam. This new 5 seater hatchback model, Toyota Etios Liva will be available mainly in 3 models, Toyota Etios Liva V, Toyota Etios Liva J and Toyota Etios Liva G.
